I was impressed by the many traditional features (stained glass, protective covers, varnishes, etc.) and the meticulous maintenance demonstrated by our owner.

You enter the boat through the stern door next to the helm. You then arrive in the galley kitchen (1.87 meters headroom) and the boat's dinette (1.80 meters headroom). This boat is classified as a boat of historic interest or BIP (Bateau d'Intérêt Patrimonial), and the entire interior of the boat is decorated in a traditional Dutch style, a true journey back in time that does not compromise on modern comfort!

In the kitchen, a 220V refrigerator (new in 2022), a microwave, a double sink, 4 induction hobs, and an electric oven are included, used at shore, and also an extractor hood. Broker's Comments

Dutch Tjalk barge of 15 meters long for sale.
Boatshed Midi Canals is pleased to present this traditional 15 meter long barge classified as a boat of historical interest (BIP).

Engine from 2015 with less than 1000 hours, powerful electric bow thruster. Kitchen with 4 induction hobs, extractor hood, electric oven, 2 fridges, 1 freezer, air conditioning, instant water heater, LCD screen, etc.

The classic and traditional style of this Tjalk leaves nothing to be desired in terms of interior comfort and navigation comfort!

Its size and shallow draft ensure easy manoeuvrability and allows for the exploration of rivers such as the Baïse and many other secret places.

Inside, I was really impressed by the charm of its classic old marine-style layout, very cozy and warm.
Its owner's cabin and 4 extra berths (convertible dinette into double bed and two single beds forward) make it an ideal boat for a couple.

You can feel the loving care that our owner has given to his boat through the numerous embellishments that have been made since its acquisition in 2018.

What more can I say? Come and see it for yourself!
