The Bayliner 4588 Motoryacht is Bayliner's most popular pilothouse model. With three staterooms, comfortable pilothouse, large cockpit and spacious flybridge, it is a great design for all season cruising in the Pacific Northwest.
This boat has benefitted from a significant modification to the hull. The stern was modified with a custom waterline hull extension at the swim step that includes additional storage within. This is not simply a swim step extension - it is an engineered extension to the vessel hull to provide for increased cruising efficiency, added speed and stability, and a very large aft swim step platform with staple-type safety rails. Additionally, port and starboard custom chine extensions have been integrated into the hull to increase stability and laminar flow.
The flybridge has wraparound seating on the port and starboard side, while the helm is offset to port. Aft of the flybridge seating, there is space for kayaks or a tender.
The foredeck can be accessed by sliding pilothouse doors on either side. There is built-in bow seating on the foredeck - perfect for taking in the view on the sunny Northwest days!
This boat has been kept in covered storage and shows in excellent condition.
Waterline Boats / Boatshed does not independently verify capacities and measures, which are reported from seller-provided information and/or literature.

Broker's Comments
Of the 350 Bayliner Motor Yachts built of this classic style this one is special. For the first 20 years it was kept in covered moorage., contributing to its very nice condition. And has a professionally-installed hull extension modification, adding length to the waterline and providing an extended swim platform with staples and three large dry storage spaces. The staples aid in getting in and out of the dinghy.
The appearance immediately evidences that the owners have taken care of the maintenance details, and it shows pride of ownership throughout. A recent survey notes that this vessel is in ABOVE AVERAGE condition. The sellers are motivated as they are moving forward into a much larger motoryacht.
