Broker's Comments

This Ocean 60 has never been in the water. SOS did the original fit out (the original plan was to charter her), fitting the tanks and bulkheads before being sold. The present owner bought her from Gillingham Marina 12 years ago at that same stage of completion. He then had the new keel fabricated in iron with steel plates through it along with the fibreglassed rudder with aluminium stock. He also bought the original engine which had never been installed from new. She could obviously be finished off as designed or may make a live aboard for somebody. There are no masts or sails.

As you come down into the saloon area there are two double aft cabins which have yet to be finished and presently have no partitioning bulkhead between the two. The present owner was starting to add an internal helm position and the steering coupling has already been fitted ready along with the engine instrumentation. Heating is presently provided by a small woodburner. Down the steps you have the galley on the starboard side and the main double cabin on the port side. Then next going forward you have another double on the starboard side and a twin bunk cabin on the port side. This cabin has access to a heads. Going forward again you come to the unfinished wet room on the port side and two bunk beds on the starboard side but this may be better as an open area. There is another heads forward and then the forward twin/double cabin with access into the chain locker.
