Broker's Comments
The Achilles 24 is built predominantly of fiberglass with teak trim, the boats are known for their sound, strong but simple construction and perform well as small cruiser/racers.
This model has a single Perspex window either side, a design characteristic of later models. The exterior appears in good condition for the age of the vessel.
Despite the size, these boats have raced in events like the AZAB (Azores and Back) and the OSTAR (Observer single handed trans-Atlantic) demonstrating their strength and sailing ability. Ideally suited for low input sailing this boat is more than capable of exploring the UK coastline and should bring a new owner plenty of enjoyment doing just that.
